Since baking in the sun this summer is just no longer an option...if you want a summer glow, self-tanner it is! Don't get me wrong, I'm going to still sit out in the sun for minimal periods of time (vitamin-D is still VERY important) but I will no longer spend days baking, burning, and piling on oil. If you have a base of self-tanner going for you, an hour of sun at a time will be an added bonus to your color. This Sephora self-tanning body mist {here} is my absolute favorite. I make sure to exfoliate my face and body with St. Ives scrub once a week.

For those of you who live in Chicago, East Bank club offers one of the best spray tans around. It is 100% organic and is a customized color for each and every skin tone. It is the best spray tan I've ever gotten, and I plan on doing them all summer long!

Whether you break out or not, it is crucial to constantly be killing any and all bacteria that is on your face. These Dr. Goss pads will make your skin tingle just enough to let you know your face is as clean as it can be. The serum on the left is what I use every night before I go to sleep. The combination of these two products have given me my best skin yet. The serum evens out your skin tone, prevents fine lines and wrinkles, and eliminates any sun or environmental spots. Shop the pads {here} and the serum {here}.

My favorite summer perfume scent is grace by Philosophy {here} and I use moroccan oil for my hair finishing spray {here}. The combination of the two leave you smelling like the beach, summer, and freshness combined.

For almost two years now I've gone back and forth between these two lotions. They both do very similar things, but I find that it's good to never let your face get too immune to one specific product. So, some weeks I use Aveeno, and some weeks Kiehl's. Both reduce redness, give my skin the perfect pH balance, and the perfect amount of hydration.

And of course....you can't go without skin protection this summer. The Sun Bum sunscreen is THE best smelling sunscreen you will ever get your hands on. As for the Aquaphor, I take it with me wherever I go. I use it mainly for my lips, but it's always good to have with you to protect your skin against any falls, scrapes, cuts, etc.
