"Whoever says sunshine brings happiness has never danced in the rain"

While everyone else was in bed watching movies this weekend while it was freezing, rainy, and miserable in Chicago, I had a brilliant idea to go take pictures out in the South loop. The only good thing to came out of it was the detour I made to Mrs. Fields cookies on the way home. Having said that, a bathing suit shoot will not be in my near future. While normally I would have tossed the pictures and waited for a clear day, I thought the foggy, wet lens produced a unique set of pictures: oh, and more importantly disguised the fact that I was still wearing last nights make-up.

{This is no secret, my biggest obsession of fall fashion in 2012 is the "snood". Even cooler, the brown snood I am wearing in this picture is designed by one of my best friends! Dayna has designed all of the current scarves for Steve Madden. She doesn't stop there, just to name a few, she also designs for many other private labels including Kohls, Bloomingdales, Lord & Taylor, etc.  Look out for me wearing other designs of Dayna's in the near future! }
